After I upgraded my Nook Color firmware to v1.3.0 I was back to a non-rooted eBook reader, which meant no access to the Android Market with lots of free games for my Kids to play. Today I updated my Nook Color to firmware v1.3.0 from v1.1.0 (rooted).
So whats the big deal, you ask? Well, when I rooted my Nook, it no longer automatically updated itself over WiFi to newer versions of the system software (also called Firmware).
