Nook Color firmware v1.4 is coming (Thanks Barnes & Noble), so is a price drop to $200. Don’t buy a Nook Color now haven’t already, wait for the release of Nook Color 2 and the Kindle Fire before deciding.

Today I updated my Nook Color to firmware v1.3.0 from v1.1.0 (rooted).
So whats the big deal, you ask? Well, when I rooted my Nook, it no longer automatically updated itself over WiFi to newer versions of the system software (also called Firmware).
